2024 In Person Special Events & Camps

February Yoga Fun!

Held at BirchTree Bread Company,

(this is not a drop off event, caregivers must stay on the premises)

Join Krista Gordon from Tranquil Little One at the wonderful BirchTree Bread Company for a special event filled with fun!  Your child will have the opportunity to get their bodies moving, practice mindfulness, enjoy imaginative play, decorate a winter themed cookie and create a craft! All the fun will happen right within the cafe and parents are welcome to find a comfy spot to unwind while the kids play. All children need to be registered individually with a ticket purchased for each child participating as space is limited to 20 children.


Price of the ticket includes 30 minutes of yoga and 30 minutes for a craft and cookie decorating. Please note, only on street parking with a metered fee is available, there are no refunds but we will keep our eye on the weather with a tentative snow date of Friday, 2/23/23 if needed.

Kids will jump, fly, create and breathe in these half-day vacation week camps and summer camps for kids ages 6-10. They’ll join our resident Earth & Aerial Yoga for Kids instructors Krista and Susie for a few amazing afternoons of expression, movement, mindfulness and creative arts. Vacation week camp and summer camp activities include traditional and aerial yoga, theater, arts and crafts, movement, meditation, games and more! No experience necessary.

Nature & Nurture

Mindful Movers: Tot & Toddler

Get your body moving and your mind focused, for this 2-hour program, encompassing a 45-minute movement and mindfulness class, 15 minute story time, and 1 hour of open play. This class is structured to encourage and support your toddler’s physical explorations with repetition of movement and songs. Give your little one the time and space to nurture creativity, practice mindfulness and release energy in a constructive way! This is a 4-week series and best for kiddos 18 months to 3 years old.  Please dress in comfortable clothing. No previous yoga experience is needed.

Drop off option: Children under 2.9 years can be dropped off if a parent remains on campus. Children 2.9 and older can be dropped off without a parent remaining on campus.

Mindful Movers: Baby & Caregiver 

This class provides an excellent opportunity for one-on-one time to bond with your little one. You will learn a variety of movements, stretches and activities to use daily, supporting the development of your baby and providing you time for deep breathing. This is a 6 week series and best for babies 6 weeks to pre-crawlers. Please dress in comfortable clothing and bring a yoga mat (one can be provided if needed) and a small toy for class! No previous yoga experience is needed.

Mindful Movers: Storytime

This fun & active class combines children’s books and movement to offer a special experience for toddlers, preschoolers and their caregivers! In this class children will learn poses, sing songs, and play games while exploring movement and social skills using books as our adventure guides. Classes are filled with the opportunity to get energy out, take deep breaths and also provide quiet time for kiddos to sit and be still.  Mindfulness is incorporated through listening games and creative present moment thinking activities utilizing their senses.  Following the class, little ones will enjoy a story time while the classroom transforms into a playroom filled with opportunities to use their imagination, engage in gross motor activities, and practice socializing with other little ones their age!

This unique combination of traditional and aerial yoga for kids will bring your little ones into a space of awareness, creativity, strength and tranquility. Featuring a different focus each week, this developmentally appropriate class will incorporate traditional yoga poses and flows that are specifically designed to enhance core strength, balance, concentration and full-body coordination. Children will use the aerial yoga hammock in various ways, including to stretch, strengthen and rest. The instructors will also introduce an array of breathing exercises and mindfulness techniques, giving students guidance on how they can incorporate them into their daily lives as coping skills. No previous yoga experience required. Class size is limited to - Choose from one of three sessions.

Virtual Rest & Reset Yoga

Ages 10-15

Sunday 6:00 - 6:30 PM EST

1/14, 1/21, 1/28, 2/4, 2/11, 2/25

Must sign up for all 6 classes.

Class is held over Zoom!

Give your tween or teen an opportunity to slow down, organize their mind, take some deep breaths and find present thinking before their busy school week!

No yoga experience is required, class is gentle and not fast paced but there will be movement involved. Have your kiddo lay out a yoga mat, find some quiet, and spend some time making their care a priority.
